Fisia Italimpianti jv wins €83.9 M contract in Turkey

Fisia si aggiudica  un contratto in Turchia Atakoy

Fisia Italimpianti has won a €83.9 million contract in Turkey to modernise and expand a water treatment plant in Atakoy. The project, awarded by municipal company Istanbul Su ve Kanalizasyon Idaresi (ISKI), will be done by the Fisia Alkatas joint-venture, whose lead partner is Fisia.
Under the terms of the EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) contract, the joint-venture will modernise an existing plant to have it treat 360,000 cubic metres of waste water per day. They will also build a new section for the plant to treat another 240,000 cubic metres per day and 20,000 cubic metres per day using a membrane system MBR. The work is to be completed in 24 months.
The new contract allows Fisia Italimpianti, a world leader in desalination and water treatment plants, to develop its market position and strengthen its role in environmental sustainability.
