Client: Oman Power & Water Procurement (OPWP)

Located on the coast in the Gulf of Oman north of Muscat, Ghubrah 3 IWP will serve residents living near the capital.

The plant will use the reverse osmosis process to desalinate water from the sea and will have a production capacity of 300,000 cubic metres of water a day (66 MIGD).

Ghubrah 3 is expected to take three years to complete, becoming the biggest plant in the sultanate once in operation.
